Following the roaring success of their second season, we are delighted to announce the return of the Foster Festival with 3 sparkling comedies for summer 2018. Nobody does Norm Foster comedies better than the Foster Festival and this summer will see 2 new World Premieres plus one of Foster’s Greatest Hits. The Foster Festival is the very first theatre festival in Canada to celebrate the work of a living Canadian playwright – recently appointed Officer of the Order of Canada Norm Foster. The Foster Festival will keep you laughing all summer long with its Trademark “HUMOUR with HEART” in the Heart of Niagara.

COCA-COLA CONCERT SERIES
RUNNING UNTIL SEPT. 3 | QUEEN VICTORIA PARK

The Niagara Parks 2018 Coca Cola Concert Series will feature free performances featuring local artists from a variety of musical genres from country to classic rock, with bonus concerts scheduled from July 1 to 4.
Out-of-town guests and local residents alike are invited to enjoy free live performances on the concert stage located at Queen Victoria Place, starting at 8 p.m. Each evening will culminate with a reworks display over Niagara Falls at 10 p.m.

MYSTIFY: CLOSE UP MAGIC SHOW

Come join us for an extraordinary close up magic experience featuring mind blowing magic, comedy, interactive mind manipulation and world class entertainment. The show runs 75 minutes, featuring two sleight of hand artists with over twenty five years of experience entertaining audiences just like you! All seats are general admission, and are close up for optimal viewing – NO BAD SEATS! The show is suitable for ages 12 and up. When circumstances force Rosalynde from her home in the city, she ees into the unknown wilds of the forest where she sets out on a journey of identity, self-discovery and love, learning that to carve your own path, sometimes you need to break the rules. Looking back 100 years to Canada in 1918, Rosalynde (or, As You Like It) explores the right to be who we are, to love whom we choose and to do what we please in a time when women were fighting for equality, the government was regulating recreational substances, and conflict was shaping our country. Not at all like today, eh? No advance tickets required. Come downtown, bring your blankets and lawn chairs. Performance is rain or shine and just pay-what-you-can. Performance begins at 7:30 pm.

DAY OF 1000 MUSCIANS

This will be Niagara Region’s version of Rockin’ 1000, an ambitious attempt to gather 1000 musicians to perform simultaneously for the largest Canadian rock show ever. Amateur and professional musicians will join forces performing 6 songs in one big production, while raising money for local charities including music for therapy programs in the region.

Celebrate the Civic Holiday, also known as ‘Simcoe Day’, or ‘Emancipation Day’ in the African Canadian community, which honours the first Lieutenant Governor of this province. Join us as the Mackenzie Printery will be featuring the works of Upper Canada’s first Lieutenant Governor, John Graves Simcoe and his contributions to shaping the future of Ontario. Admission is $6.25 for adults and $4.15 for children six to 12 years of age. Children five years and under are admitted free at all Niagara Parks attractions. MURDER MYSTERY NIGHT

The Niagara Parks Commission’s Old Fort Erie is pleased to announce the return of the popular Murder Mystery Night on September 8 at 7 p.m. A murder has taken place at Old Fort Erie and the inspector needs help to catch the culprit! Search for clues around the old stone fort and meet the suspects to help solve the crime. Fun prizes to be won throughout the evening with doors opening at 6:30 p.m.
