All dishes are made from scratch, and the culinary team painstakingly searches for the very best products to use in the kitchen, such as San Marzano tomatoes for sauces and daily-made soups. They also make it a point to only use recipes from different regions of Italy. La Cascata’s main dishes include a variety of pastas, steaks, and seafood. Some of the choices include lobster ravioli, veal chop parmigiana, an 18-ounce bone-in rib eye, a 20-ounce pork porterhouse, and stuffed chicken breast with prosciutto, sundried tomato, fresh herbs, and garlic cream sauce. More than 120 labels of wines from around the world are available, and qualified wine experts can help guests choose the perfect bottle or glass for dinner.
La Cascata roughly translates to “waterfall” or “cascade” – a fitting name, given its close proximity to the nearby world-famous Niagara Falls. Inside the restaurant, rich, dark wood paneling provides accents to the bright yellow walls, jade-encrusted lighting fixtures, and blue wavy tiles amongst stately tables with pressed tablecloths. Nearby at the front of the restaurant is a fireplace and dimly-lit circular booths, including a separate oversized booth that easily seats more than a dozen guests and overlooks the master wine displays. In addition, a back oval-shaped room with enclosed doors seats up to 32 guests and can double as a space for private parties, office meetings, and special celebrations upon request.
