IL GELATO DI CARLOTTA
6380 Fallsview Blvd. Unit #212
Niagara Falls 905-984-8999
With its flagship store at 59 Queen Street, Niagara-on-the-Lake, (905-468-8999), Gelato di Carlotta has brought the taste of Tuscany to Ontario since 2013.
After moving to Canada, Carlotta Cattani was determined to bring her passion and know-how for authentic Italian gelato to Ontario. Along with her husband and two brothers, Carlotta chose the historic and picturesque town of Niagara-on-the-Lake to launch her venture.
Having achieved tremendous success at this first location, Il Gelato di Carlotta opened a second location right in the heart of Niagara, inside the prestigious Fallsview Casino, on June 15th, 2015.
Carlotta herself is the driving force behind the flavour options offered. New flavours are periodically introduced based on the season. Only traditional ingredients are used in Il Gelato di Carlotta and the lady herself makes it a point to be consistent with the most popular flavours kept on the menu board offering 38 wonderful options.
Carlotta also incorporates her frozen delicacies into traditional Italian baked goods. You can find gelato-stuffed Biscotti, Cakes, Cannoli, and even a Gelato Burger.
Il Gelato di Carlotta operates daily at its flagship location from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. with extended weekend hours until 9:00 p.m.
The Fallsview Casino location operates from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. with extended weekend hours until 1:00 a.m.
The great Canadian author, Lucy Maud Montgomery sums it up best…
“I guess ice cream is one of those things that are beyond imagination.”
